Although UAS is a small university, we seek to contribute in big ways to the understanding of the unique biocultural region we inhabit, including its premier coastal rainforest, majestic icefields, glaciers, rich marine ecosystems, cultures, economics, and politics. The UAS Juneau Campus Advisory Council is proud that UAS' highly credentialed faculty work closely with UAS students to pursue important research with partners in Alaska and around the world. When 20 donors give to any UAS Research for Southeast fund, the UAS Juneau Campus Advisory Council pledges to donate $1500 to support the greatest needs at UAS.

Calling all UAF alumni! UAF alumni from all majors play a key role in Alaska's leadership in Arctic research and innovation by using their knowledge of the state's natural environment to advance various fields. UA President Pat Pitney challenges UAF alumni to make a gift to any fund that they are most passionate about. If 450 UAF alumni donate this Giving Day, President Pitney will donate an additional $2,000 to the College of Natural Science and Mathematics to inspire UAF students towards professional careers and public service through the lens of lifelong learning.

Calling all UAA alumni! UAA alumni of all majors are part of the strength of the Alaskan business economy. President Pitney challenges all UAA alumni to make a gift to any fund that they are most passionate about. If 350 UAA alumni donate this Giving Day, President Pitney will donate an additional $2,000 to the College of Business and Public Policy to continue preparing students for leadership at the frontiers of a changing world.

UA Make Alaska Prosper Challenge
Laura Edmondson, UAF '92, board member of Anchorage Economic Development Corporation and the University of Alaska Foundation will donate an additional $500 to support the University of Alaska General Fund, for purposes at the discretion of the University of Alaska President, if 100 donors join with a gift of any amount to our universities' important general funds: UA General Support, UAF General Support, UAS General Support, and UAA Annual Fund for Excellence. UA Supporting Alaska's Educators Challenge
When 1,000 alumni and friends donate to any program or scholarship, UA Foundation Director and Former Regent Mary K. UA Engineers Make it Happen Challenge
Alaska counts on our incredible engineers to find the solution to complex Arctic concerns. 75% of UA's grads stay in Alaska long-term, which is something to be proud of; the challenge at hand is ensuring bright students receive the support they need to enroll and graduate. UA Alaska Values Indigenous Knowledge Challenge
To celebrate reaching 2025 donors for UA Giving Day in the year of 2025, the University of Alaska President's Office will direct $6,000 to the three universities' 2025 priorities to celebrate Indigenous knowledge through three unique initiatives. Troth Yeddha' Indigenous Studies Center at UAF will serve as a central Alaska Native gathering place with classes, services, and activities as a breathtaking tribute that affirms Alaska Native culture and contributions across Alaska. The UAA Alaska Leaders Archive will preserve the legacy of those who have served Alaska and its people. Cyril George Indigenous Knowledge program at the Egan Library brings together important resources about all aspects of Alaska Native culture and technology in honor of Tlingit Leader, Kaalkaawu Cyril George.
