Health Sciences CNA Scholarship: This fund provides financial assistance to students enrolled in the UAS Certified Nurse Aid program, helping them succeed in their education and future healthcare careers.

UAS School of Career Education Support: This fund empowers students on transformative career paths by supporting training, curriculum development, and faculty—join us in shaping the future of career education today!

Construction Technology Support: This fund aids the UAS Construction Technology program, providing students with the resources and opportunities needed for success in the field of construction.

UAS Center for Mine Training Support: This fund helps high school students entering the mining industry through specialized courses, paving the way for future careers in mining.

UA Engineers Make it Happen Challenge
Alaska counts on our incredible engineers to find the solution to complex Arctic concerns. 75% of UA's grads stay in Alaska long-term, which is something to be proud of; the challenge at hand is ensuring bright students receive the support they need to enroll and graduate. Stephanie Erickson, Manager of ConocoPhillips' Greater Prudhoe Area and University of Alaska Foundation board member, challenges Alaska's engineers to be part of the solution. To represent 75% of alumni staying in Alaska, when we reach 750 donors to any program or scholarship, Stephanie will donate $2,000 split between UAA College of Engineering and UAF College of Engineering and Mines.

When 1500 alumni and friends donate to any program or scholarship, the John C. Hughes Foundation will contribute $10,000 to support Alaskans pursuing degrees in education across the UA system. As a founding member of the University of Alaska Foundation 50 years ago, John C. Hughes was deeply passionate about education. His lasting legacy continues to strengthen higher education in Alaska and support future educators in our great state.

Calling all UAF alumni! UAF alumni from all majors play a key role in Alaska's leadership in Arctic research and innovation by using their knowledge of the state's natural environment to advance various fields. UA President Pat Pitney challenges UAF alumni to make a gift to any fund that they are most passionate about. If 450 UAF alumni donate this Giving Day, President Pitney will donate an additional $2,000 to the College of Natural Science and Mathematics to inspire UAF students towards professional careers and public service through the lens of lifelong learning.
