Laura Edmondson, UAF '92, board member of Anchorage Economic Development Corporation and the University of Alaska Foundation will donate an additional $500 to support the University of Alaska General Fund, for purposes at the discretion of the University of Alaska President, if 100 donors join with a gift of any amount to our universities' important general funds: UA General Support, UAF General Support, UAS General Support, and UAA Annual Fund for Excellence. UAF Alumni Challenge
Calling all UAF alumni! UAF alumni from all majors play a key role in Alaska's leadership in Arctic research and innovation by using their knowledge of the state's natural environment to advance various fields. UA President Pat Pitney challenges UAF alumni to make a gift to any fund that they are most passionate about. If 450 UAF alumni donate this Giving Day, President Pitney will donate an additional $2,000 to the College of Natural Science and Mathematics to inspire UAF students towards professional careers and public service through the lens of lifelong learning.
