UA Launch Power Hour

If 200 donors make a gift in the first hour of UA Giving Day, the University of Alaska Foundation Board of Directors will collectively donate $5,500 to UA General Scholarship, a scholarship open to students at any of the University of Alaska's campuses.

2026th donor wins $2026

To celebrate the Class of 2026, the 2026th donor this UA Giving Day will win a grant of $2026. The grant will bolster the donor's donation in a big way! The grant will be directed to the same University of Alaska initiative that the 2026th donor donated to.

UAF Troth Yeddha' Challenge

Dedicated partners, Alaska Permanent Capital Management (APCM) and Matt Varga ’98, ’09, ’10, are supporting the Troth Yeddha’ Indigenous Studies Center with a $12,000 Giving Day challenge. When 100 donors make a gift to Troth Yeddha’, this challenge will be unlocked—amplifying impact alongside a UA Board of Regents initiative that is doubling eligible gifts to Troth Yeddha’ up to $10 million through 2026.

1000th new donor wins $1000

To celebrate the efforts of UA Giving Day Champions spreading the word about their favorite programs this UA Giving Day, the 1000th new donor will win a $1000 mini-grant. The mini-grant will be directed to the same University of Alaska initiative that the winner donated to.

UAF General Scholarship Match

The UA President's Office will match donations to the UAF General Scholarship dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000, with a grant from the President's Office.
