What’s a Champion?
A Champion is a volunteer fundraiser, and anyone can sign up. No fundraising experience is required. Champions are the heartbeat of UA Giving Day, inspiring their networks to support their favorite UA programs or universities. With your help, we hope to empower 2026 donors to celebrate the graduating class of 2026.

As a Champion (volunteer fundraiser), you strengthen our universities by broadening our donor community. Every donation amount is important (donations start at $5). The previous 5 years of UA Giving Day have shown us that what matters most is the power our donors have in numbers–and the loyalty our new donors will develop to the programs they care about.

When you connect your first donor through your unique Champion URL, you will be automatically entered to win an Alaska Airlines round-trip voucher, donated by Alaska Airlines.

Champion FAQ
Q. Do I have to register again this year?
A. Even if you registered as a Champion last year, you must still update your registration for this year's UA Giving Day. After re-registering, you will receive an email to reset your password.
Q. My dashboard doesn't have this year's UA Giving Day listed as an option
A. Clear your cookies, then enter your Dashboard through the Champion welcome email.
Q. When can I start?
A. Registration for 2026 is open. You’ll receive more tips via email.
Q. Can I be a Champion if I work for the university?
A. Yes!
Q. Can I be a Champion if I am a student?
A. Yes!
Q. Can I be a Champion if I am not an alum?
A. Yes!
