UAF ConocoPhillips Alaska Celebrating Engineers Week Event
In celebration of Engineers Week, ConocoPhillips Alaska is pleased to present a $20,000.00 Community Challenge Grant to the UAF College of Engineering and Mines (CEM) during the 2026 UA Giving Day. ConocoPhillips Alaska recognizes the need for quality education, workforce development, and engineers who are ready to help advance responsible resource development in Alaska. ConocoPhillips Alaska is proud to invest in Alaska's future engineers and invites others to join them in celebrating UA Giving Day and Engineers week at the UAF College of Engineering and Mines.

UA Engineers Make it Happen Challenge
Alaska counts on our incredible engineers to find the solution to complex Arctic concerns. 75% of UA's grads stay in Alaska long-term, which is something to be proud of; the challenge at hand is ensuring bright students receive the support they need to enroll and graduate. Stephanie Erickson, University of Alaska Foundation board member, challenges Alaska's engineers to be part of the solution. To represent 75% of alumni staying in Alaska long-term, when we reach 750 donors to any program or scholarship, Stephanie will donate $2,000, split between UAA College of Engineering and UAF College of Engineering and Mines.

UA 1000th new donor wins $1000
To celebrate the efforts of UA Giving Day Champions spreading the word about their favorite programs this UA Giving Day, the 1000th new donor will win a $1000 mini-grant. The mini-grant will be directed to the same University of Alaska initiative that the winner donated to.
