How do I give to multiple funds?

You can add multiple gifts to your cart or complete additional transactions at any time during the 49 hours.

To add multiple funds to your cart:

1. After selecting your first gift, click "+Add another gift to your donation."

2. Use the drop-down menu on the left to select a UAA, UAF, or UAS priority area.

3. Use the drop-down menu on the right to select a program or scholarship within that priority area.

How do I support multiple Challenge or Matching Gifts with my donation?

If your donation qualifies toward one or multiple Challenges or Matching gifts, you will see them listed under your gift selection in the "Donate" section of this donation form. Your completed donation will be automatically applied to all qualifying Matches and Challenges, with no action on your part. 

How do I give a Champion credit for my donation?

Volunteer Champions are entered into a drawing for an Alaska Airlines voucher when they connect their first donor. To give a Champion credit for your donation, navigate to the UA Giving Day website using the Champion's referral URL. The Champion can double-check if your donation is properly connected to their account by logging into their Champion dashboard. If your donation does not show up on the Champion's dashboard, you or the Champion can call or text the UA Giving Day Support Line to connect your donation to the Champion.

Are gifts tax-deductible?

Your gift will be receipted by the University of Alaska Foundation and is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

The UA Foundation is a private nonprofit corporation, operated as a public Foundation, and is a tax-exempt organization as described in subsection 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The UA Foundation qualifies as a public charitable organization under Subsection 170 (b) (1) (A) (vi) of the Internal Revenue Code.
