The UAA School of Education is a driving force behind workforce development in Alaska’s most critical field: education. As the primary educator preparation program serving Southcentral Alaska and beyond, it prepares teachers and school leaders to meet urgent workforce shortages in urban and remote communities. Through field-based training and strong partnerships with local districts, the School of Education equips graduates to step confidently into classrooms and build a sustainable pipeline of highly qualified educators for Alaska’s future.
