UAA Community and Technical College

Hello and welcome!

The UAA Community & Technical College builds Alaska’s workforce and fosters student success through quality education and technical training. Program areas include Welding, Construction Management, Aviation, and Automotive and Diesel Technology. We are home to the general education courses for Quantitative Studies (math), Writing, and Communication. We are also home to both Army and Air Force ROTC, whose programs prepare leaders for both the military and eventually the community.

UAA Alumni Challenge
Student retention and recruitment are critical priorities for the University of Alaska. In support of these efforts—and in honor of her child, a graduate of UAA’s College of Business and Public Policy—UA President Pat Pitney will contribute $2,000 to CBPP if 449 UAA alumni make a gift to any UAA fund during UA Giving Day. Every gift helps strengthen pathways for current and future students.
