Advocate for these priorities this UA Giving Day:

  • Museum Annual Fund: Support the museum's efforts to illuminate the natural history and cultural heritage of Alaska and the North through collections, research, education and partnerships.
  • Museum Education Enhancement: Support UA Museum of the North educational programs such as K-12 field trips, family activities, events and statewide outreach to connect the public with Alaska's science, arts, history and cultures.
  • UAMN Planetarium Excellence: Support the ongoing excellence of the Walt and Marita Babula Planetarium at the UA Museum of the North, the future farthest-north planetarium in North America. Gifts help fund programming, operations, capital needs, and other priorities as determined by the Museum Director.

UA Launch Power Hour
If 200 donors make a gift in the first hour of UA Giving Day, the University of Alaska Foundation Board of Directors will collectively donate $5,500 to UA General Scholarship, a scholarship open to students at any of the University of Alaska's campuses.

2026th donor wins $2026
To celebrate the Class of 2026, the 2026th donor this UA Giving Day will win a grant of $2026. The grant will bolster the donor's donation in a big way! The grant will be directed to the same University of Alaska initiative that the 2026th donor donated to.

1000th new donor wins $1000
To celebrate the efforts of UA Giving Day Champions spreading the word about their favorite programs this UA Giving Day, the 1000th new donor will win a $1000 mini-grant. The mini-grant will be directed to the same University of Alaska initiative that the winner donated to.
