Your help is needed more than ever to ensure CRCD students have what they need to reach their goals. Make a difference today by donating to one of these crucial areas:
- College of Rural and Community Development provides academic and vocational education and outreach to campuses serving an area nearly two-thirds of the state and representing more than 160 Alaska Native communities.
- Wartes RAHI Endowment: Denise and Mark Wartes Rural Alaska Honors Institute Endowment Spendable provides scholarship and programmatic support for the Rural Alaska Honors Institute and its students at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
The College of Rural and Community Development (CRCD) is a learning organization for its many students, faculty and communities through meaningful and beneficial collaborations built upon local values. CRCD’s community campuses in Fairbanks, Bethel, Dillingham, Nome, Kotzebue, and centers in Galena, Ft. Yukon, Tok, Unalaska, McGrath, Shishmaref, Unalakleet, Togiak, King Salmon, and Delta reach 160 communities statewide. The lack of roads and infrastructure compel our faculty and staff to be creative and innovative in course design and delivery.
