Thank you for supporting the UAA College of Engineering during our first UA Giving Day 2020! You can still make a gift to support COE by visiting: engage.alaska.edu/uaa/engineering
At UAA, you can pursue your dream of becoming an engineer or computer scientist while living in Anchorage — the business, industrial, cultural and recreational center of Alaska. Located near major Alaska employers of engineering talent, 74% of our job-seeking students have jobs before they graduate!
The Alaska Department of Labor has projected the state will need 300 new computer and engineering professionals annually through 2022, 96 new positions and 204 new engineers to replace retirees. UAA's College of Engineering is committed to producing graduates with cutting-edge skills ready to energize the state's growing engineering community — and you can help.
Choose a priority area below and make your gift today to support Alaska’s future engineers!
- Excellence in Engineering: Gifts to this fund allow the college to focus resources on the areas of greatest need, including student projects, competitions, equipment for hands-on education and research, K-12 STEM outreach and other activities to ensure student and faculty success.
- College of Engineering Scholarship: One of the highest priorities at the college is offering more scholarships to attract and retain the most talented students and to help them graduate on time.
- Engineering Dean's Excellence Award: Gifts to this fund support four-year recruitment and retention scholarships for eligible engineering students.
