The Senator Ted Stevens Legislative Internship Program is the new name of the longstanding University of Alaska internship program, hosted by the University of Alaska Southeast.
The Program gives students, who are passionate about public service, the opportunities to get real-world, hands-on training vital to anyone pursuing a career in Alaska politics. Now more than ever, your support is critical to keep this program going strong.
Your gift will enable students to discover how the wheels of state government turn — preparing today’s students for careers that will brighten Alaska’s tomorrow.
The program, now in its 30th year, enables qualified students from the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), and the University of Alaska Southeast (UAS), to earn college credits while working in the Alaska Legislature.
