UAF Student Support

Thank you for supporting UAF students during our first UA Giving Day 2020! You can still make a gift to support UAF students by visiting: engage.alaska.edu/uaf

Students are the reason we are here!  This fall, we welcomed more than 6,700 students back to class either in person or on-line. Everyday, our students who come from all walks of life are working hard to earn their degrees and change their lives, and you can help!

Make a gift to one of the student support funds below to show students you care.

Nanook Pledge (UAF General Scholarship): The Nanook Pledge is a merit based scholarship that provides four years of annual assistance to first-year students, transfer students and readmitted students at UAF.

UAF Annual Fund: This fund allows UAF to use your donation where it's needed most, to address the areas of greatest need and opportunity each year.

Nanook Brotherhood Project Scholarship: This scholarship supports tuition and other education expenses for UAF students from all backgrounds who support diversity, inclusion and equity in relation to social justice and are committed to academic excellence.

UAF Student Support: Provides additional support to students facing unexpected costs and short-term emergencies, such as the sudden loss of a part-time job, food insecurity and technology needs. Life happens, but a crisis shouldn't interrupt a student's education!
